Weather on Earth and in Space: Feb 14-18

There was a rather large explosion on the Sun this weekend (Coronal Mass Ejection, CME) this could result in a aurora (northern nights) in the night sky.  The chances are small 20%,  but it is well worth the look over the next 2-3 nights. The news article

The weeks weather should give us ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE (45-50F) with little to no chance of snow.(see links to the right for daily weather in Sparta)
